Beyond The Canvas
Beyond the Canvas, displayed at the Chatsworth Artisan Festival and The Getty's 25th Anniversary Event, combines digital 3D elements with physical paintings, blending
Afro-futurism and Latinx aesthetics to bring the artwork to life and expand the visual story.
This project confronts the false narratives that portray minorities as lazy, uneducated, or criminal, instead showcasing their role as innovators and creators in art and technology. This project was a finalist in the 2022 Snapchat AR Lens Fest Competition and I was recognized as an official Snap AR Partner.
